In this project, an user-friendly tool was developed to statistically support decision making in quality control for (food) companies. The focus was on (i) the development of sampling schemes that can deal with very low percentage of defects in a lot by using historical measurements, and (ii) the development of monitoring tools for industrial processes that can detect very small shifts in process means. The development took place in close collaboration with VDC consulting bvba specialized in ICT solutions for quality management in (food) industry. The project was supported by an SME-innovation grant of VLAIO.
